I’ve never been good at taking care of myself. I’ve been better at staying numb. Staying numb isn’t healthy.
This is the last Foundation Stone, and it’s the one most men avoid. Not the gym. Not getting shredded. The real question isn’t “am I fit.”
When I was a kid, my mom couldn’t afford to fix everything on the car. The rule was: something rattles, turn up the radio. That became how I lived. It cost me physically, emotionally, spiritually, and in my marriage.
Real health means seeing a doctor, taking your meds, walking 20 minutes a day. Ignoring it isn’t toughness. It puts the people who depend on you at risk.
Last foundation stone. Next: the storms themselves.
Take the assessment at StormReadyMen.com. If you’re married, send your wife to TheCoupleCure.com.
